Terms and Conditions for 1762’s giveaway

IMPORTANT: Please carefully read and understand these terms and conditions (“terms”). They contain limitations on 1762’s liability and other provisions that affect your legal rights.

1762’s right to update or terminate the giveaway. You understand and consent that (with or without notice) 1762’s may update, modify or terminate the giveaway from time to time, at its sole discretion.

About the giveaway. 

Discover our freshly-made salad range not for a day or two… for a whole year! Yes, you heard that right.

About the giveaway. 

• The giveaway is exclusive to a single winner who places an order with 1762 through Deliveroo platform.
• The one-year free salad offer is restricted to one salad per day and can be redeemed exclusively at the 1762 JLT venue.
• To avail of the complimentary salad, the winner must present the winning card, which is non-transferable and can only be used by the winner.
  
• This giveaway is applicable only to participants residing in Dubai.

Eligibility. The giveaway is open only to participants who reside in the UAE. The giveaway is not targeted to anyone under the age of 18. You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the  giveaway. 

Duration. January 15th, 2024 until February 1st, 2025 (inclusive).

Prize. 1 year of free salads from 1762.

Winner Selection. 1 winner who orders from Deliveroo platform.

Publicity. By participating in the giveaway contest, the winner agrees to allow 1762 to use their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional and advertising purposes without compensation.

Liability. 1762 is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to participants or their property related to their participation in the giveaway contest. Participants agree to release and hold harmless 1762 and their affiliates from any liability, injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the giveaway contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.

Modification. 1762 reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway contest without notice. 1762 also reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without notice.

Our information practices and communications with you. 1762’s Privacy Statement. The following Privacy Policy describes our information practices, including how we collect, use and share information.

How we communicate with you. Through the online services, you may opt in to receive emails, text messages to the mobile number you provide to us or push notifications from 1762’s. When you opt in to any of these types of communications, you understand and consent that you will receive marketing, transactional and other messages from 1762’s. 1762’s may use the information you have provided to us to communicate with you in accordance with the following Privacy Policy.

1762’s intellectual property ownership. Any and all rights in the online services are and shall remain the exclusive property of 1762’s or its licensors. For purposes of clarity, “online services” includes any and all content on the online services, such as, but not limited to, text, images, graphics, logos, page headers, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software, trademarks, service marks, trade dress, audio, video, data and other materials (together, “content”) as well as any part of the online services. The online services are licensed, not sold, to you.  Nothing in these terms intends to transfer any such rights to, or to vest any such rights in, you. You may not take any action to jeopardise, limit or interfere with 1762’s or its licensors’ rights.

Trademark information. Trademarks, service marks, and all graphical elements, including the look and feel appearing on the online services, are distinctive and protected trademarks or trade dress of 1762’s or licensors.  The online services may also contain various third-party names, trademarks, and service marks that are the property of their respective owners.

Events beyond our control. 1762’s has (and other members of the 1762’s system have) no responsibility for 1762’s failure to perform any of its obligations under these terms caused by or related to any event beyond 1762’s reasonable control. If such an event occurs, then 1762’s obligations under these terms will be suspended for the duration of the event; and 1762’s may, but is not required to, use reasonable endeavours to find a solution by which its obligations under these terms may be performed despite the event.

Miscellaneous. 

These terms will be governed and interpreted pursuant to the laws of the UAE, notwithstanding any principles of conflicts of law; You irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts in  the UAE for purposes of any legal action arising out of or related to these terms or the online services.

The terms are written in  English. Any translation of the terms into another language is provided solely for your convenience, and to the extent there is any conflict between the two, the English version controls.

Each of the terms and conditions in these terms are severable and operate separately. If any of them are unlawful, void or unenforceable, then the remaining terms and conditions will remain in full force and effect.

If 1762’s fails to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these terms, or if 1762’s does not enforce its rights against you, or delays in doing so, that will not mean that 1762’s has waived its rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations.

1762’s may transfer its rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation or entity, but this will not affect your rights or our obligations under these terms. You may only transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to another person if 1762’s agrees in writing.
